So, this happened last night!
I have been working so hard since establishing TABITHA + CO™ NC. that I forget to reflect on all that I have accomplished in such a short time. Last night provided a period in time to do just that! I was humbly honoured to have my company recognized last evening by the Pictou County Chamber of Commerce and to receive the 'New Business of the Year Award' that is sponsored by CBDC- NOBL. Special mention goes out to Jack Kyte and Heather MacCulloch for all of the hard work from behind the scenes to make this annual event a success. To be recognized with so many other amazing individuals from the Pictou County business and not-for-profit community is humbling in itself. Congratulations to all the other outstanding recipients! There have been many challenges throughout this endeavour and I would be naïve to think that there won’t be more in the future. It’s the encouragement of all in attendance last evening, my community and clients that keep me forging ahead each day. Anyone can come up with a great concept for a business plan, but it’s the support of many that contribute to making it a success. I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to accept the award with gratitude if it weren’t for my leather mentor Paul Marcella who is 82 years young this year, team CBDC~NOBL, Nova Scotia Works PC, the community of Pictou County, my friends, my family and most importantly, my clients. Without this support, the idea for this business model would still be on paper or floating around inside of my busy brain. Thank you for believing in my dream, continuing to support it, and 'Traveling with Tab'! Tabitha XO
